Easy Dog Tricks
Having a dog can be very rewarding for most individuals. Most people enjoy teaching them tricks, and showing them off to their family and friends. Dogs are very intelligent and learn quickly. There are many easy tricks to teach a dog that only requires a few minutes out of your day. Two of the easiest tricks is teaching them how to speak and sit.
Teaching your dog how to speak is a lot of fun. Your dog will enjoy it because it allows him time to interact with you. Buy your dogs favorite doggie treats. Set up a quiet area for just the two of you. Hold up a treat and command your dog to speak. Use a happy tone when commanding your animal, and make sure you praise him when he gets the command right. You may have to do this quite a few times before your dog gets the idea of what want.

Teaching your animal how
to sit is a very important trick, because your dog needs to be trained not to run away from you. Teaching a dog to sit is usually one of the first mastered tricks for them.
Again, doggie treats are great to get them to pay attention. Hold the doggie treat slightly above your dogs nose, you will then move the treat further back over their head; this will usually bring them to sit on their hind legs in order to see the treat. You want to command them to sit before they reach that position.
Some tricks may take your dog time to grasp the concept of what you want, but they will master the trick with positive reinforcement.
