How do you teach leash walking two dogs loose?

I have a dog that is trained. She walks on a leash by my side and not pull. Recently adopted a new dog. I was working with him and teach him loose leash walking with a clicker and treats. He is doing ok when I'm alone. The problem is when I try to walk both at the same time. Total nightmare! They pull the leash constantly (they are very strong together). Do they walk a task I dread. Does anyone have any tips for training on how to train two dogs with short leash loose?

Until the new dog is not reliable I would walk to pull them separately or have someone else foot of dogs. Every time he pulls, turn around, then he has to follow it. Walking forward to positive reinforcement = If you can train in your basement or a restricted area with minimal distractions / smells to them that you should. Thus, they are not overly excited and wanting to pull to investigate.
